States Across the South Will Rally for Marijuana Reform on February 10

Marijuana reform leaders in several Southern states have joined forces to launch the first round of coordinated rallies calling for an end to marijuana prohibition in the south. On February 10 simultaneous events will be held in Atlanta, Montgomery, Tallahassee and Baton Rouge calling for an end to the war on patients and recreational marijuana users.

Atlanta

Georgia marijuana rally 2015

When: February 10, 2015
Time: 1:00-5:00 EST
Where: Liberty Plaza, next to the Georgia State Capitol

Join Peachtree NORML and the Georgia Campaign for Access, Reform and Education at the Rally for Peace, Justice and Unity. This event will take place next to the Gold Dome at the new Liberty Plaza free speech zone. There will be a large list of respected speakers as well as live music and entertainment.

Alabama marijuana rally

When: February 10, 2015
Time: 12:00-5:00 CST
Where: Alabama State Capitol

Hosted by the Medical Cannabis Advocates of Alabama (MCAA), the Rally in the Heart of Dixie aims to “bring medical cannabis to Alabama”. MCAA has also created a GoFundMe page to help pay for transportation costs for speakers.

Florida marijuana rally

When: February 10, 2015
Time: 12:00 EST
Where: State Capitol Courtyard

The Silver Tour is joining with NORML of Florida, Law Office of Bill Wohlsifer PA, Florida Can, LEAP, Patients Out of Time, American Cannabis Nurses Association, Veterans for Compassionate Care, Veterans for Cannabis Access NORML of Fl Vets and other organizations to bring a thousand patients, seniors, veterans, doctors, and supporters to Tallahassee to support a comprehensive medical marijuana bill.

Louisiana marijuana rally

Where: Louisiana State Capitol

The Ragun Cajun Southern States Rally for Freedom will take place at the Louisiana State capitol, and is being coordinated in a show of solidarity with other southern states to provide a “moment of reflection, meditation and rallying together for a common cause – human and civil rights in The Southern U.S. regarding cannabis”.
