A new social movement is afoot to end cannabis prohibition for all Americans. Travis Lachner, founder of Denver-based Bee-High.com, launched the #mission420 campaign in an effort to legalize cannabis across the country by April 20, 2020 (4/20/20). The goal of #mission420 is to take advantage of the ever-increasing support of cannabis legalization by connecting with strategic partners to amplify the message across the country. “There are people doing amazing work on the legislative side of legalization.” Lachner says. “But the final push of momentum will be educating genuine public opinion and getting young voters in front of their ballots.”
How #mission420 works
As a successful businessperson Lachner has spent the last several years connecting with medical and recreational cannabis customers and patients, and he is putting those contacts to work in the form of a robust social network. The social cannabis campaign #mission420 has already accumulated 10,000+ shares across social networks in its first few weeks.
To participate in #mission420 you can visit their website and signup for their email list. Subscribers receive regular “mini-missions” by email, encouraging small doses of activism that add up to make a big impact. Members also have access to original, though-provoking content on the subject of cannabis legalization, medical marijuana and more and may also purchase apparel from the website, the proceeds of which are donated to support cannabis legalization initiatives.
