Cannabis infused tea, also known as Bhang, is a tasty way to medicate that has also been used for hundreds of years on the Indian subcontinent for both medicinal and celebratory purposes. If taken in proper quantity, bhang is believed by many to relieve symptoms of fever, dysentery, sunstroke, to clear phlegm, aid in digestion, appetite, cure speech imperfections and lisping, and give alertness to the body.

Ingredients

1 tea bag
2 tbsp butter
1/2 gram ground marijuana or other botanicals

What else you’ll need:
Small pot
Coffee strainer or cheesecloth

Instructions

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer.

Add butter and ground marijuana, simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Carefully strain the hot liquid into a glass container and allow to cool for about 5 minutes, then add tea bag. Steep for 3-5 minutes and then enjoy!

    1. That’s a good option. This recipe assumes someone wants to make a quick, tasty treat and doesn’t have a whole afternoon to infuse butter. Which, I might add, takes a HELL of a lot longer and MUCH more work than this does.

You can decarb first but it’s not really necessary if you simmer it for 30-40 minutes.
